Regular League Rules Apply, plus:

• Umpires will be supplied for all games.
• Game balls will be supplied.
• Games have a 1 hour and 15 minute time limit. No inning to start after 1 hour and 5 minutes (65 minutes).
• A & B Division: pinch runner can only run once per inning.
• Home teams at Colville on Friday night are asked to leave their bases in play for the whole weekend tournament.

INELIGIBLE / NON-ROSTERED PLAYERS

It has come to the League's attention that there are some teams that have been and possibly may have been breaching our league constitution that clearly states the Victoria Men's Masters League will not allow men under 40 years of age to participate in any league games or tournaments deemed Men's Masters over 40, under any circumstances.

These ineligible players will not be insured and all liability lies with the offending team if any member of either team is injured.

If any coach or manager clearly thinks that a player is under age or not rostered, the opposing coach or manager has a right to:

1. Protest the game and refuse to play until proper ID is shown with pic and birthdate;
2. Ask for a copy of their roster and reference the name birthdate and phone number of the player;
3. If you are a B Division team protest to your umpire and he will deal with it.

If you have exhausted the above options please send a formal protest to the league and it will be dealt with in a timely manner.

Dan Twinn has a rare blood cancer and only a bone marrow transplant will save his life.

Bone marrow donation is a simple process of registering your name and providing a cheek swab. Once you are registered you will only be contacted for further testing or possible donation if you are a potential match to save someone's life. The actual donation of the bone marrow is a short day procedure with very little discomfort following.

That "someone" could be a newborn baby, a young child, a teenager, a mother or a father — someone like Dan Twinn — you may even be the one to save this man's life.

If you are between the age of 17 and 50 years please contact 1-888-2-Donate or go to www.onematch.ca to register your name as a potential donor.

All ethnic backgrounds are needed. The more people who register the better the chance to find matches for everyone, especially those with uncommon typing, which is so very desperately needed.

Please inform others of the need to register and save lives.
